Financial education

Understand it before you buy it

A strategy you do not understand is a strategy you will abandon in the first bad year. That is the entire reason education comes before product here.

Where we start

The first question is what the money is for

We run workshops for families, employers and community groups, and one on one sessions for people who want the material without a room full of strangers. There is no cost and there is no application at the end of it.

Household workshops

Cash flow, debt sequencing, emergency reserves, the protection layer and how retirement accounts actually work. Written for adults who were never taught any of it.

Business owner sessions

How personal and business capital interact, retirement plan options for a small team, key person exposure and what happens to the business if the owner cannot work.

Employer lunch and learns

A financial literacy session for your team, delivered on site or remotely. No solicitation in the room, and employees follow up only if they choose to.

One on one review

Bring what you own. Statements, policies, plan documents. You leave with a written picture of where you stand and a list of what to fix first.

How it works

The same five steps, every time

Discovery

A real conversation about income, obligations, timeline and what you are actually afraid of. No product is mentioned. Nothing is sold. Roughly 45 minutes.

Analysis

We map what you already own, where the gaps are and what each dollar is currently doing. You get the picture in writing, including the parts that are working fine.

Design

Two or three routes, side by side, with the trade-offs written down. Guarantees, liquidity, tax treatment, fees and the scenario where each one underperforms.

Implementation

Applications, underwriting, transfers and beneficiary designations handled end to end, with a named person you can call instead of a service queue.

Annual review

Income changes, tax law changes, families change. The strategy gets re-examined every year and adjusted rather than left to drift for a decade.

Questions

About education specifically

No. Workshops and the initial one on one session are free, including the written summary you take home.

Not in the room. Education sessions contain no applications. If you want to go further afterward you schedule a separate appointment, and that is entirely your call.

Yes. We deliver sessions for employers, associations and community organizations throughout the Bay Area and remotely. Get in touch with a rough headcount and a date.

For a one on one, recent statements for anything you own, current policy documents and a rough sense of your monthly cash flow. If you have none of that, come anyway.

Start with a conversation, not a recommendation.

Bring what you already own. Statements, policies, plan documents. You will leave with a written picture of where you stand whether or not you ever work with us.
